Ashley Shephard, LGPC
THERAPIST
Ashley is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC), earning her B.A in Psychology from Salisbury University, and her M.A Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School.
She works primarily with children, teens, and young adults, and has a passion for working with the LGBTQ+ community. Her client-centered approach to therapy prioritizes the needs and preferences of the individual, while working towards treatment goals.
She believes that traditional talk therapy isn’t conducive to the needs of all clients, and frequently incorporates expressive art, play, music, and movement into her practice. Ashley utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused therapy during her sessions. Her goal is to help clients build confidence and foster a better understanding of themselves and the world around them.
