Camp Chameleon

The Personal Wellness Center has teamed up with Coastal Hospice for our annual summer day camp! Camp Chameleon is 4-day summer day camp open to youth ages 5 to 12 who have experienced a primary loss in their like the death of a parent, grandparent, sibling or other closely connected person.

The camp offers a safe place for children to express their grief, to explore the many emotions that accompany the death of someone close, and to learn age-appropriate coping skills that will assist them on their grief journey. This year we are encouraging families to participate during the last portion of the camp day. Lunch provided daily! Each child will receive a t-shirt, water bottle, and supplies for all activities. Youth will engage in healing circles, memory captures, expressive arts, mindfulness, and celebration.
